• Wooden frames are coated with
Medicote® anti-bacterial lacquer
containing an agent which prevents
bacteria surviving on the surface.
• Wooden surfaces should be cleaned
regularly with a damp soapy cloth.

Upholstery
• Clean upholstery in line with fabric
manufacturer’s recommended
guidelines.
• For maintenance cleaning, vacuum and/
or wipe clean routinely with a micro-bre
cloth, lightly dampened with cold water
only.
• Soak up spillages with an absorbent dry
cloth as soon as possible to prevent
permanent staining.
• For extreme soiling, remove body uids
and contaminants immediately with cold
water (within 15 minutes) and apply your
approved infection control protocol
– Haz Tabs, Chlor Clean, etc. Always
apply in line with the manufacturer’s
recommendations.
• DO NOT USE SOLVENT BASED

• Mechanical faults should be attended to
by a qualied technician or consult the
manufacturer
• Protect chair frames from moisture,
abrasion and collision damage
• Excess oor moisture may cause water
ingress and swelling to chair legs
• Castors should be technician checked
every 3 months for tightness/wear

organisation’s policy, method and health and safety regulations.

Note:
• Regular cleaning with a microbre cloth lightly dampened with cold water will keep your furniture looking good for a long time.
• Avoid soap if possible as this cloggs the upholstery and compounds soiling. If it has to be used, remove soap residues
immediately.
• Do not dry clean, tumble dry or fully immerse the furniture in water.
• Do not apply solvent based cleaners or any other chemicals to the upholstery.
• Steam cleaning disinfects but the application of heat may permanently “seal in” staining substances producing in-delible staining.
• Dyes and pigments from indigo jeans, ball point and felt tip pens will permanently stain.
