The battery is not included with the unit as supplied.
For frequent employment, the use of a
rechargable
nickel-cadmium battery instead of a
Alcali
Battery -Block is advisable. The NC rechargeable battery can be recharged with a
suitable charging device through the integral charge jack

open the battery compartment. The condition of the battery must be testet from time to time.
A discharged or “dead” battery must be removed from the unit immediatly. A leaking battery
can cause serious demage to the radio.

After the battery has been correctly inserted, radio operation can be undertaken.

Receiving
The device is switched on by the knob

Servicing of the TEAM Shorty
There are no user adjustable or user serviceable parts inside the radio. The casing must be
not opened independent repairs or adjustment must not carried out, since each modification
or unauthorised intervention will immediatly cancel all and any guarentee or repair claims,
they are also likely to result in nonconformity of the approval which

render the set illegal.
