HANDLEBAR HEIGHT AND ANGLE
After you have set the saddle height and tilt,
adjust the handlebar for a safe and comfortable
ride.
Ask your bicycle retailer for advice.
WARNING
Under no circumstances should the head stem be
retightened with its ‘Minimum Insertion’ or ‘Maximum
Extension’ mark visible.
‘Threadless’ headset. DO NOT over tighten the
two securing bolts. If unsure, consult your bicycle
retailers.
If the front brake cable is attached to the
handlebar stem moving the stem up or down will
require a readjustment of the brake. If in doubt,
ask your bicycle retailer to make the adjustment.
