The TEBO Aura massage chair is designed to provide a luxurious and comprehensive robotic massage experience. It features automatic detection and micro-adjustment of shoulder position, human body curve, and Shiatsu points, ensuring a personalized and accurate massage. The massage head can stretch back and forth according to the detected body curve and Shiatsu points, making the massage more humanized.
The chair offers four groups of automatic massage programs: VIP Auto Program, Healthcare Auto Program, Special Auto Program, and Relaxation Auto Program, totaling 23 automatic massage treatments. Users can also save up to three customized massage programs for future use. For manual selection, there are five back-massage areas: Full, Partial, Spot, Upper, and Lower.
The TEBO Aura provides 17 manual massage techniques, including Knead (7 modes), Tap (2 modes), Knead & Tap, Shiatsu (2 modes), Grasp, and 4D (4 modes). Eight massage adjustment functions are available: 4D Intensity, Back-massage speed, Back-massage area, Back-massage width, Air pressure intensity, Foot roller speed, Calf massage speed, and Massage Time.
Air pressure massage is available for the arms (upper and lower), hips, leg calf area, and feet, with three adjustable levels of intensity.
A unique shawl assembly offers innovative heating functions for the shoulder, back, waist, and abdomen using graphene. Users can position the shawl to target specific areas. When placed at the shoulder, it heats acupoints like Bingfeng, Tianzong, Yunmen, and Qihu, relieving symptoms such as scapulohumeral periarthritis and cough, and removing cold and moisture. When placed on the abdomen and back, the graphene heating helps dispel cold, relieve pain, warm channels, and remove blood stasis, distributing Qi and blood in the back and abdomen meridian. This can alleviate low back pain, kidney discomfort, warm intestines and stomach, and clear intestinal cold.
Innovative heating at the soles of the feet and toes uses carbon fiber, providing hot compress to effectively relieve mental fatigue and clear the mind.
The chair incorporates Slide rail technology, minimizing the distance required from the wall (2.5cm) to save space. The massage-head guide rail uses "S" & "L" rail technology, conforming to the human body's back and allowing massage from the head to the top of the thigh.
Intelligent voice control recognition enables massage control through voice commands. 3D digital audio is available via Bluetooth connectivity. A mobile phone wireless charging function is integrated into the left armrest.
The left armrest features shortcut controls for On/Off (Pause), 4D intensity adjustment, zero-gravity mode, automatic mode selection, voice control wake-up, footrest telescopic adjustment, leg rest telescopic adjustment, seatback-up adjust, and seatback-down adjust.
The TEBO Aura includes a calf massage function with kneading and airbag squeezing around the inside and outside of the calves, relieving stiffness and tension. Foot roller massage scrapes and massages the arch and toes. Ankle stretching uses airbag squeezing to fix the calf and feet, then adjusts the footrest up and down to alleviate muscle stiffness, leg muscle soreness, and ankle strain after prolonged walking and strenuous exercise. Leg traction massage combines lower leg air compression with back manipulators to stretch the legs.
The footrest automatically detects the plantar position and adjusts to the user's leg length for optimal comfort. It uses electronic telescopic adjustment to achieve the most comfortable massage position and length for the foot.
Magnetic therapy areas are incorporated into the left and right armrests for the palm of the hand. Negative Oxygen ions are generated from the right-side speaker area, and LED mood lighting is emitted from the exterior of the left and right armrests.
Massage selection and control are managed through a 7-inch TFT colored touch screen. If a massage is terminated before completion, the TEBO will automatically return to the upright position. In case of a power cut, the TEBO will hold its position until power is resumed.
To start a massage, switch on the power at the rear of the chair, then use the Power button on the side of the touchscreen. The chair will enter Standby Mode. Select an Auto pre-set massage or a saved massage from the Customise menu. This initiates the Body scanning and Shoulder detection process. If no selection is made within 5 minutes, the TEBO will shut down automatically.
After selecting an Auto massage, the backrest and calf position adjust for body scanning and shoulder detection. The chair then performs detection of acupressure points and shoulder position. For Frozen Shoulder massage, only shoulder detection is scanned. To skip the scan, press the "X" button, and the TEBO will operate with default settings.
Upon scan completion, a beeping sound indicates the massage heads are gently rolling on the shoulders. During this 10-second period, users can adjust the detected shoulder region using the up or down shoulder buttons (11 levels of adjustment). If no adjustment is needed, press the ENTER/OPERATION BUTTON to proceed.
The "Pause" button temporarily stops all massage functions. Pressing it again resumes the massage. If paused for over 20 minutes, all functions automatically turn off.
The upper body massage strength (4D key) can be adjusted in five levels using the "—" or "+" buttons on the 4D icon in the massage information interface. This adjusts the extension or retraction of the massage head and can be used in both automatic and manual massage techniques.
Manual functions allow selection of massage techniques, intensity, speed, width, back-massage area, and air pressure. The air pressure massage includes upper and lower body airbag pressure, adjustable in three levels. Foot rollers can be turned on or off, with three adjustable speeds.
Negative oxygen ion massage function can be switched on or off. Back heating for the cape (graphene heating) and toes (carbon fiber) can also be activated. Heating takes 3 minutes to warm up.
The "Customise" button allows saving a current massage (up to 3) including methods, air pressure, and angle. Saved massages can be recalled from the "Use" area.
The "Angle" button accesses the adjustment interface for chair inclination, leg-rest position, and leg-length for the footrest. Zero G positions can also be selected and adjusted.
Zero gravity adjustment offers two modes, automatically adjusting calf and backrest positions. Lying angle adjustment allows independent control of calf unit and backrest movement, with automatic leg length detection upon completion. Footrest stretch adjustment enables manual shortening or extension of the footrest.
Settings include backlight brightness adjustment, Display Auto-Lock time adjustment (1, 3, 10, or 30 minutes), button volume switch, serial number display, and language selection.
Bluetooth connectivity allows wireless transmission of music from a paired audio source device (e.g., mobile phone, tablet) to the massage chair's audio system.
Massage time can be adjusted in 5-minute increments, up to a maximum of 40 minutes. This adjustment must be made from the main information control interface.
Armrest shortcut keys provide quick access to 4D intensity rotation, On/Off (pause), Zero Gravity, footrest extension/shortening, wireless charging, Auto key (cycles through automatic functions), Voice Control Wake-up (short press to wake, long press for on/off), and Chair Angle adjustment (Up/Down).
Voice control is enabled by saying "Hi Alice" or "Hey Alice" when the chair is on or in standby, or by short-pressing the voice control button on the armrest. The chair will reply "I am here," after which commands can be given within six seconds. If no correct command is given, voice control turns off automatically. Commands include "Massage on/close," "Stress Relieving," "Energy," "Good-night Sleep," "Neck & shoulder care," "Full-body stretch," "Spine Massage," "Open/Close the air pressure," "Up/Down the seat position," and "Change the other mode."
The product should be maintained by a manufacturer-designated service center. Users should not disassemble or maintain it without permission. Always turn off the main power switch after use. Do not use the product if the power socket is loose.
For long periods of disuse, roll up the power cord and store the product in a dry, dust-free, well-ventilated room, free of corrosive gases, and away from high temperatures, open flames, or direct sunlight.
Clean the product with a dry cloth; never use thinner, benzene, or alcohol. The mechanical components are specially designed and manufactured, requiring no special maintenance. Avoid stabbing the product with sharp objects.
When moving the product, lift it instead of rolling or pulling it on uneven ground. Use the product intermittently; avoid continuous operation for extended periods.
If the motor sounds during operation, this is normal. If the controller malfunctions, check the plug, power socket connection, and power switch. If the rated working time is exceeded, the product automatically powers off. If it operates for a long time, the temperature protector will stop it, allowing use again after half an hour.
The TEBO Aura weighs approximately 132kg. For wooden flooring or hard surfaces, placing a carpet or similar protection under the chair is recommended.
To move the chair, first switch off power at the wall and remove the power cord and remote controller. Press the backrest down until the chair balances on its rear wheels, then push it to the desired position and slowly lower it. The rear wheels are suitable for short-distance, slow movement only. For long-distance transportation, use other auxiliary moving tools. Do not use chair wheels on wooden floors, rough ground, or in narrow spaces. Two people are required to lift the chair, using the calf rest end sealing-plate and backrest cover grooves as lifting points (do not lift using armrests directly).
The head pillow and backrest pad are removable, attached with zips. These cushions can reduce kneading massage intensity on the neck and shoulder, allowing users to choose whether to use them based on preference.
