1. Indtroduction
The TX061AEI is a new networked 4K WiFi client set-top box model that is targeted
for Comcasts TX061AEI WiFi client. This is a new design that incorporates next
generation silicon in 28 nm geometry and is expected to bring high powered CPU
processing power that will support the many networking software applications that
Comcast is looking to deploy. The TX061AEI is expected to incorporate
state-of-the-art WiFi capabilities. Networks supported include 802.11ac,
2.5Ghz/5Ghz c WiFi and Ethernet. Wi-Fi configurations would include 2x2.
Features include up to 14,000 DMIPs of computing power; 2160p60 decode of H.265
or H.264 content and display resolutions up to 2160p60; 3D graphics; Advanced HDR
(ITM/Dolby), HDMI TX/RX v2.0, and upgraded security like Adobe Access.
