select
speakers
to
adjust
the
output
level.
The
output
level
appears
on
the
display,
and
the
speaker
indica-
tor
for
the
selected
speaker
flashes.
Each
time
the
button
is
subsequently
pressed,
the
speaker
whose
level
is
to
be
set
is
selected
in
the
following
sequence:
C—RS—LS—SW
ja

Speakers
for
which
NONE
or
NO
has
been
set
are
skipped.
Press
LEVEL
[+]
or
[—]
to
adjust
the
output
level.
The
levels
for
C,
RS,
LS
and
SW
can
be
adjusted
in
1
dB
incre-
ments
from
—12
dB
to
+12
dB.
Use
the
output
test
signal
from
the
front
(L,
R)
speakers
as
a
benchmark
to
adjust
the
output
levels
in
such
a
way
that
the
test
signal
is
heard
at
the
same
strength
from
each
of
the
speakers.
Adjusting
the
volume
balance
between
the
left
and
right
front
speakers
@When
the
volume
level
between
the
left
and
right
front
speaker
is
unbalanced,
proceed
to
the
following
steps.
if
this
unit
is
connected
to
a
receiver
or
amplifier
having
the
left
and
right
balance
control,
adjust
the
left
and
right
balance
on
the
com-
ponent
(receiver
or
amplifier)
and
skip
the
following
steps.
Refer
to
the
instruction
manuals
of
the
components.
Press
BALANCE
[L]
or
[R]
on
the
remote
con-
trol
to
adjust
the
volume
balance.
The
left/right
balance
appears
on
the
display.
Each
time
the
button
is
subsequently
pressed,
the
output
level
of
the
front
speaker
opposite
to
the
button
pressed
is
decreased.
Example:
When
the
L
button
is
pressed,
the
output
level
of
the
R
speaker
is
decreased.
The
original
display
is
restored
if
no
buttons
are
pressed
for
4
or
more
seconds.
The
volume
balance
of
the
surround
speakers
cannot
be
ad-
justed
using
the
BALANCE
buttons.
To
re-adjust
the
output
level
of
each
speaker,
repeat
the
procedures
from
step
4.
To
stop
the
test
signal
Press
TEST.
