system

channel

entity

employed.
As
a
result,
a
3-dimensional
sound
field
with
all
the
sensations
of
the
spatial
distance,
the
movements
and
the
localization
of
the
sound
can
be
reproduced
more
realistically.
A
5-plus-1-channel
system
is
used
for
sound
repro-
duction
in
which
an
extra
channel
for
the
deep
bass
(which
handles
the
sound
of
the
deep-bass
effect
in
the
low
frequency
range
below
120
Hz)
is
recorded
discretely
in
addition
to
the
3
channels
(L,
C
and
R}
at
the
front
and
2
channels
(LS
and
RS)
at
the
back.
Free
from
crosstalk
between
the
channels,
the
sound
field
can
be
controlled
so
that
it
matches
the
viewing
and
listening
space.
The
high-frequency
reproduction
range
of
the
5
chan-
nels
extends
up
to
20
kHz
which
is
the
same
as
for
CDs.
