When the tape monitor indicator is lit or flashing
This indicates that the tape monitor function of this unit is ON.
To listen to sources other than a tape, be sure to press
[TAPE MONITOR 1 and check the indicator goes out.

TREBLE Turn TREBLE to adjust the high-
frequency sound.
BASS Turn BASS to adjust the Iow-fre-

BALANCE
Turn BALANCE to adjust the
left/right sound balance.
This will not adjust the left/right volume balance
of the surround speakers.
When listening through head-
phones
Use VOLUME to reduce the volume level, and con-
nect the headphones.
Avoid listening for prolonged periodsof time to prevent hearing
damage.
