@ Playing Modes
This piano has two playing’modes: cancel mode and AUTO
PLAY CHORD mode.
M@ Cancel mode
This mode is activated when the both the ADVANCED and
BASIC buttons are off. It is used when AUTO PLAY CHORD is
not required.
¢ Normally, the selected tone is effective for the entire
keyboard.
e As explained later, when the split function is used, the
keyboard is divided into left and right sections for which
separate tones can be selected.
@ AUTO PLAY CHORD mode
in this mode, playing any chord on the left part of the
keyboard will automatically give you the BASS and ACCOMP
as well.
There are two levels of AUTO PLAY CHORD, ADVANCED and
BASIC.

@ Split Function
The keyboard can be split into two parts, left and right, which
can be independently set for different tones and effects.
Pressing the KEY SPLIT button changes the location of the
split in this sequence: from G2 up ~ C3 ~ C4 — OFF.
® The key at the split location is included in the right
keyboard, and the remaining keys comprise the left
keyboard.
¢ The split is automatically set at C3 when an AUTO PLAY
CHORD mode is selected. The split function is turned off
when the AUTO PLAY CHORD buttons are turned off.
