Transpose
Suppose
you
learn
to
play
a
song—in
the
key
of
C,
for
“exampie—and
decide
you
want
to
sing
it,
only
to
find
it’s
either
too
high
or
too
low
for
your
voice.
Your
choice
is
to
either
learn
the
song
all
over
again,
in
a
different
key,
or
to
use
the
TRANSPOSE
feature.
C
is
the
standard
setting,
and
the
key
may
be
raised
or
lowered
with
the
two
TRANSPOSE
buttons.
The
key
can
be
reset
to
C
instantly
by
pressing
both
TRANSPOSE
buttons
simultaneously.

When
TRANSPOSE
is
used,
depending
on
the
selected
sound,
the
tone
produced
by
some
keys
in
the
outer
ranges
may
be
raised
or
lowered
by
one
octave.

Setting
the
effects
for
each
sound
The
DIGITAL
CELESTE,
BRILLIANCE
(PX55/PX66)
and
DIGITAL
REVERB
(PX55/PX66)
are
stored
independently
for
each
sound.
When
a
SOUND
button
is
pressed,
the
effect
settings
for
the
selected
sound
are
recalled.
Mixing
two
SOUNGS
(Pxss/pxes)
The
sounds
can
be
mixed
by
pressing
2
SOUND
buttons
at
the
same
time.
At
this
time,
pressing
one
of
the
SOUND
buttons
slightly
before
the
other
will
activate
the
effects
for
the
first
sound.
The
effects
can
then
be
changed
as
desired,
but
the
changes
will
not
be
stored.
Volume
balance
adjustment
You
canadjust
the
volume
balance
when
2
sounds
are
mixed.
1.
Press
the
desired
2
SOUND
buttons
for
about
3
seconds,
pressing
the
button
for
which
the
volume
is
to
be
adjusted
slightly
after.

The
indicator
of
the
SOUND
button
which
was
pressed
first
will
light,
and
the
indicator
for
the
button
which
was
pressed
later
will
flash.
2.
Adjust
the
volume
of
the
sound
with
the
flashing
indicator
by
using
the
TRANSPOSE
buttons.
®
You
can
set
the
volume
to
any
of
11
levels.
®
The
current
level
is
shown
by
the
lit
indicator.
3.
The
volume-setting
mode
is
canceled
when
any
SOUND
button
is
pressed.
®
The
volume-setting
mode
is
available
only
when
sounds
are
mixed.
®
To
return
to
the
initialized
setting,
follow
the
initialization
procedure
on
page
8.

When
mixing
the
HARPSI
or
PIPE
ORGAN
sound
with
another
sound,
the
sustain
pedal
does
not
work
for
the
HARPSI
or
PIPE
ORGAN
sound.
