Pedals
Sustain pedal
The
right
pedal
allows
you
to
turn
sustain
on
and
off.
When
a
key
is
released
while
this
pedal
is
depressed,
the
sound
is
sustained
so
that
it
lingers
and
slowly
fades
out.
®
On
the
PX66,
the
right
pedal
is
a
four-stage
pedal,
and
the
length
of
the
sustain
is
controlled
by
the
degree
to
which
the
pedal
is
depressed.

For
the
PIANO
sound,
the
tones
of
the
far
right
keys
are
automatically
sustained
just
like
in
an
acoustic
piano.
Soft pedal
The
left
pedal
can
be
used
as
a
soft
pedal.
When
the
pedal
is
depressed,
the
sound
is
softer
and
the
volume
is
lower.

PX44:
The
soft
pedal
can
also
be
used
as
a
SOSTENUTO
pedal.

Sostenuto
pedal
(PX55/PX66)
The
middle
pedal
is
used
asa
sostenuto
pedal.
If
the
pedal
is
pressed
while
the
keys
are
pressed,
a
sustain
effect
is
applied
to
those
notes
only.

For
the
STRINGS
sound
(PX66)
and
PIPE
ORGAN
sound,
the
notes
sound
as
long
as
the
pedal
is
pressed.

Digital
Celeste
A
celeste
effect
can
be
applied
to
give
the
sound
greater
depth.
©
PX33/PX44:
When
the
DIGITAL
CELESTE
button
is
on,
the
number
of
notes
which
can
sound
simultaneously
is
reduced
to
8.
©
PX55/PX66:
When
the
DIGITAL
CELESTE
button
is
on,
the
number
of
notes
which
can
be
sound
simultaneously
is
reduced
to
16.

Digital
Reverb
(PX55/PX66)
DIGITAL
REVERB
applies
a
reverberation
effect
to
the
sound.
Select
from
four
echo
types—PEDAL
REVERB,
ROOM,
STAGE
and HALL.
*
When
the
PEDAL
REVERB
button
is
on,
a
slight
reverb
effect
is
active.
When
the
sustain
pedal
is
pressed,
the
reverb
effect
is
stronger.
