3.7 Optional accessories
Optional IsiZapper Remote Control
The IsiZapper (Item No. 0000/3773) is an optional remote control that is specially
designed for operation in the ISI mode (see Section 13).
TechniSat A/V Adapter Kit
For connecting analogue audio/video playback devices, please use the TechniSat
specific adapter kit, Item No. 0000/3649.
4 Connecting the DVB receiver
4.1 Mains connection
The digital receiver should only be connected to the mains power supply once you
have finished making all the connections to the various other components. This
will prevent damage to the digital receiver or other components.
> Once you have made all the connections in accordance with the following
sections, use the power supply unit supplied to connect the receiver to a
230 V/50-60 Hzmains power outlet.
4.2 Sat system
> Connectthe antennas input RF IN (4) on the digital receiver to your external
unit using a suitable coaxial cable.
Also note Section 7.6 (antenna configuration) in your instruction manual.
It is not possible to receive analogue TV!
4.3 Connecting to a TV
> Connect the receiver (HDMI output 7) and TV (HDMI input) using an HDMI cable.
If your television set is appropriately equipped, it will switch to the HDMI
input automatically when the digital receiver is switched on. Optionally,
you can also connect the receiver to the TV set via analogue. Please note
Section 4.7.
4.4 Hi-Fi/surround amplifier
To achieve the best possible sound quality, you can connect your digital receiver to
a hi-fi/surround sound amplifier.
