6.3.1.1 Using an auxiliary baery
The DIGITRADIO 231 OD can be operated with auxiliary baeries (18 V) from well-known
manufacturers (BOSCH, DeWALT, MAKITA). To do this, the appropriate adapter must first
be installed in the DIGITRADIO 231 OD. A list of compatible baeries can be found in the
chapter Technical Data.
MAKITA DeWALT BOSCH
> Open the baery compartment cover (17) on the centre rear of the device by
pressing the locking tabs downwards. The baery compartment lid can then be
flipped down and removed.
> Plug the auxiliary baery onto the adapter plate (1) that corresponds to your
baery manufacturer. Observe the safety instructions provided by the baery
manufacturer.
