6.4.2 Switching o the device
With mains operation:
> By briefly pressing the On/Standby (2) buon you can switch the device to
standby mode. [Standby] appears briefly on the display. The date and time are
shown on the display. The display brightness in standby mode can be adjusted
by following the instructions in Section 13.2.
The internal baery is only charged when the radio is in standby mode.
In baery mode:
> In rechargeable baery mode, the device is always switched o completely by
pressing the On/Standby buon. There is no date and time display.
The additional baery cannot be charged in the DIGITRADIO 231 OD. To do this,
remove the baery from the DIGITRADIO 231 OD and use the original charger
from your baery manufacturer.
