To ensure safety, always turn oī the air condiƟoner and main power supply before performing 
maintenance on the appliance. 
1. Power oī before cleaning.

stopped.
 
Air Įlter 
The air Įůter behind the intake grille should be 
washed at least once every two weeks or as 
oŌen as it needs cleaning. 
How to clean the air Įůter: 
1. To remove the air intake grille, grasp the tab
on the Įlter
and pull to 
take out. 
2. Use a soŌ cloth when
cleaning the cabinet.
If the cabinet is very
dirty, dip cloth into
warm water (below
40
o
C).
Dry the 
cloth by hand
 
before 
cleaning. 
2. Vacuum the Įůter on the side containing the
dust.
3. Don’t use gas, benzene, solvent, cleanser, 
chemical solvent, etc. for cleaning.
3. Wash the Įůter, cleaner side up under gentle
Ňowing water to wash out accumulated dust
and lint.
4. If the Įlter is very dirty, use a mild household
detergent inthe water used to wash the Įůter.
4. Do not splash water directly into indoor
unit, there
are micro- 
computers and
circuit boards
which must 
not get wet.
 
Don’t  wet 
the front panel. 
Only wipe with a 
cloth.
 
Let the Įlter dry thoroughly before reinstalling it 
into the air condiƟoner. If necessary, please ask 
your local service center personnel to assist. 
* Check if air inlet and outlet of outdoor unit
are clear.
* Check the earth wire. 
Air lock can result 
in poor eĸciency 
and reduced 
performance.
