INTENSITY BALANCE —
Balances the intensity
of the two beams for
equal light output.
FOCUS — Focuses upper
and lower beam dis 
play.
INTENSITY — Controls
intensity of upper and
lower beams.
POWER and SCALE IL-
LUM. — Controls the
illumination of the grati 
cule and is the power
switch for the instru 
ment.
INPUT SELECTOR — Con 
nects inputs from se
lected input connec-
torls) to vertical am 
plifier and also selects
either AC or DC coup 
ling of the input signal.
TRIGGER SELECTOR —
Determines whether trig 
gering occurs on the
rising portion ( +
Slope) or falling por 
tion ( — slope) of the
triggering waveform.
Also selects AC or DC
mode.
TIME/CM — Selects de 
sired sweep rate.
AMPLITUDE CALIBRATOR
— Controls amplitude of
the calibrator square
waves at the CAL OUT
connector.
TRIGGERING LEVEL —
Selects the voltage point
on the triggering wave 
form where the sweep
is triggered. Also se 
lects AUTOMATIC or
RECURRENT operation.
MODE — Provides means
of obtaining single
sweep of display across
the face of the crt.
FINDER — Reduces verti 
cal amplifier gain by
100 times to enable the
trace to appear on the
crt.
HORIZONTAL DISPLAY —
Selects 1, 2, 5, 10 or
20 times horizontal
magnification of the dis
played waveform. Also
controls horizontal sen 
sitivity for external in 
puts applied at the ex 
ternal connector.
POSITION — Positions
both upper and lower
beams horizontally.
SENSITIVITY — Selects
the sensitivity of the
vertical amplifier.
POSITION — Positions
trace vertically.
DC BALANCE — Balances
vertical amplifier o n
high ranges of sensitiv 
ity control.
