Function Description:

This integration simplifies installation and wiring, making them suitable for various fire safety applications.

In an alarm state, the horn and/or strobe light activate to alert occupants. The operation of the horn and strobe light can be silenced by pressing the "Horn Silence" button on the fire detection panel. For the TFB-180BSA, setting the panel to "Silenced Horns" will disable the horn, but the strobe light will continue to operate until the "Respond" button is pressed on the panel.

Maintenance Features:

Pre-installation Checks:
- Ensure the fire detection panel has free addresses.
- Verify wiring for short circuits, connections, or leakage to ground before connecting to the fire detection panel.
- Measure cable resistance in the field.
Installation Procedure:
- Installation planning must comply with Israeli standard IS 1220, part 3, and planning consultant requirements.
- Connection of 24V power input and communication line (SLC) from the panel or external power source (e.g., TPS-74A or TPS-34A).
- Adding or removing assemblies from the panel must be done with all power sources (AC input voltage and batteries) disconnected.
- Notify the system manager before temporarily cutting off the fire detection panel for device additions.
Wiring Shielding: Shielded cables are recommended for wiring outside a building to mitigate lightning strike risks. The shield must be connected to grounding clamps on the panel.
Configuration Switches: The device includes configuration switches for setting operating mode, volume, and horn sound patterns.
