Before rst use
Wash away any dirt left overs from the manufacturing process on the measuring sensor with warm water. Do not use any cleaners or detergents.
Insert a battery inside the battery compartment (1 AAA battery not included with the thermometer).
Using the device as a timer
To turn the device on or off press the “ON/OFF” button on the back side.
Place the switch on the back side in the “TIMER” position.
Activate the alarm function by pressing the “ALARM” button on the back side of the device.
Set the desired cooking time using the “ MIN” and “ SEC” buttons. Pressing both buttons simultaneously resets the timer back to 0.
Once you set the cooking time, you can start the countdown by pressing the “°C/°
F S/S” button. The countdown can be interrupted by pressing this button again.
Using the device as a thermometer
To turn the device on or off press the “ON/OFF” button on the back side.
Place the switch on the back side in the “TEMP” position.
Connect the measuring sensor with the device using the cable connector.
Temperature can be measured in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. You can switch between the units at any time by pressing the “°C/°F S/S” button.
Remove the protective cover from the measuring sensor.
Short-term measuring:
Carefully insert the measuring sensor into the grilled food. The current temperature will appear on the display under “THERMO TEMP”.
Long-term measuring, the alarm function:
Activate the alarm function by pressing the “ALARM” button on the back side of the device.
Set the desired target temperature using the “ MIN” and “ SEC” buttons. The temperature will appear on the display under “SET TEMP”.
Carefully insert the measuring sensor into the grilled food.
Place the thermometer in a place away from heat. Use either the folding leg or the integrated magnet on the back side of the device.
When the grilled food is cooked and reaches the target temperature that you set, the alarm will go off.
To turn the device on or off press the “ON/OFF” button on the back side.
Place the switch on the back side in the “TEMP” position.
Activate the stopwatch function by pressing “°C/°F S/S” button. The measuring can be interrupted or stopped by pressing this button again.
Pressing the “ MIN” and “ SEC” buttons simultaneously resets the timer back to 0.

Do not under any circumstance dispose of the digital grilling
and roasting thermometer in normal household waste! Dispose
of it at an approved disposal facility or at your community dis-
posal facility. Respect the currently valid regulations. If in doubt,
get in touch with your disposal facility.
Batteries and accumulators
Do not dispose of batteries in household waste. Every consumer
is legally required to dispose of batteries at the local recycling
point of their community/city district or at the shop. This ensures
environmentally friendly disposal.
Batteries containing dangerous substances are labelled with
the chemical symbols Cd for cadmium, Hg for mercury and
Pb for lead. Batteries are labelled with the aforementioned
symbols.
