Overview

This document is an instruction manual for the Termozeta "ilfornotto 180 CV" oven.

Function Description

The Termozeta "ilfornotto 180 CV" is a compact electric oven designed for domestic use, primarily for cooking food. It features multiple cooking functions, a thermostat for temperature control, and a timer for automatic operation.

Important Technical Specifications

  • Model: IL FORNOTTO 180 CV
  • Type: 407020
  • Voltage: 230V ~ 50 Hz
  • Power: 1000W
  • Origin: Made in China
  • Certifications: CE

Usage Features

The oven is equipped with a control panel featuring three main dials:

  1. Thermostat Dial (3): This dial allows you to set the ideal cooking temperature, ranging from 0 to 200°C.
  2. Cooking Selector Dial (4): This dial offers three cooking functions:
    • Conventional Oven (symbol: two wavy lines, one above the other): Activates both upper and lower heating elements simultaneously. This function is ideal for various foods like fish, meat, poultry, stuffed vegetables, sweets, and any food requiring long cooking times and an even temperature. The internal ventilation fan is active with this function.
    • Reheat/Keep Warm (symbol: two wavy lines, one above the other, with a single wavy line below): Activates only the lower heating elements (10). This function is used for reheating food or keeping it warm. The desired temperature is set via the thermostat dial (3). The internal ventilation fan is active with this function.
    • Toast/Brown (symbol: two wavy lines, one above the other, with a single wavy line above): Activates only the upper heating elements (11). This function is used for toasting or browning food surfaces. The desired temperature is set via the thermostat dial (3). For best results, the grill (15) or tray (13) should be placed on the lowest shelf to position the food as close as possible to the upper heating elements. The internal ventilation fan is active with this function.
    • Defrost (symbol: snowflake): Activates only the air circulation fan. This function is used for defrosting frozen food.
  3. Timer Dial (5): This dial allows setting an operating time from 0 to 60 minutes. At the end of the set time, an acoustic signal will sound, and the oven will automatically stop operating. To interrupt operation before the preset time, turn the timer dial counter-clockwise to the "0" position.

Accessories:

  • Grill (15): Can be used as a base for cooking containers or directly as a support for food.
  • Cooking Tray (13): Can be used as a container for cooking food. It is recommended to grease it with food oil to prevent sticking. It can also collect cooking juices from fatty foods, in which case it should be placed under the grill (15). Never rest the tray on the lower heating elements (10).
  • Tongs for Tray and Grill (14): Designed for safe extraction of the tray and grill from the oven, preventing burns.

First Use: Before first use, all parts that come into contact with food should be thoroughly washed and dried. The oven should then be run empty for approximately 10 minutes on the "conventional oven" function at maximum temperature to eliminate any new appliance odors. Ensure the room is well ventilated during this process.

Operation:

  1. Place the oven on a horizontal, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials.
  2. Insert the grill (15) or tray (13) into one of the four cooking shelves (9).
  3. Select the desired cooking function using dial (4) and the appropriate temperature using dial (3).
  4. Unwind the power cord completely and connect it to a power outlet.
  5. Turn the timer dial (5) to set the operating time, adding 10 minutes for preheating. The oven will start, and the pilot light (6) will turn on.
  6. After 10 minutes, open the door (7) using the handle (8) and place the food inside. Use the tongs (14) and, if necessary, an oven mitt, to avoid touching hot parts.
  7. Once the timer finishes, an acoustic signal will sound, and the oven will stop. The pilot light (6) will turn off when the timer is at "0".
  8. After cooking, open the door (7) and extract accessories (13-15) using the tongs (14). Be careful of hot surfaces.

  • Monitor food through the door window (7) during cooking.
