Ensure the correct cuff size is selected by checking reference lines for proper fit.

Wrap the Cuff

Apply the cuff correctly, ensuring the 'O' mark is positioned directly above the artery.

Operating Modes

Normal & Slow Modes Operation

Turn on the monitor, pressurize the cuff 30-40 mmHg above expected systolic, and stop pressurization.

Auscultation Mode Operation

Turn on the monitor, select 'Aus', pressurize the cuff, and stop pressurization without automatic read-out.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Low Indication

Indicates insufficient pressurization; recommended to pressurize 30-40 mmHg higher than expected systolic.

Difficult Pressurization

May be due to a clogged air filter or deteriorated bulb; cleaning or replacement may be needed.

Flashing Panel Warnings

Panel flashes to warn of abnormal conditions like irregular beats; use Auscultation mode to verify.
