The carton contains:
The Coffee Maker
Coffee Jug with lid
Coffee measuring spoon
If any items are missing or damaged, contact your
nearest Tesco store.
Carefully remove all packaging from the coffee maker.
Retain the packaging or dispose of it with regard to
any recycling provisions in your area.

The lter holder and lter are placed as shown in the
illustration.
The Coffee Pot Lid is packed separately.
To Assemble The Pot
Place the lid over the pot. Line the two lugs in the side
of the lid with the slots in the hinge. Steady the lid on
the pot with one hand and press the lid with the other
hand until it clicks into place.


Conrm that the mains voltage on the rating plate
under the unit is correct for the UK.
Remove the coffee pot, lter holder and lter. Rinse
them in cold water and allow to dry. Wipe the
main unit with a damp cloth. Reassemble the unit.
Place the unit on a stable, dry surface within easy
reach of a mains outlet. The mains cord should not
be taut.
Fill the tank with water up to the
MAX mark. Close
the lid.
Do not overll.
Place the pot centrally on the hotplate.
Plug the unit into the mains switch on at the socket.
Switch the coffee maker
ON/OFF switch to the
‘1’ position. The switch will light up showing the
unit is operational.
When the brewing cycle is complete discard
the contents of the ask. Carry out  or 3 full
operating cycles and then switch off the machine.

The measuring scale on the water tank indicates
the number of cups your coffee maker will brew.
Switch the coffee maker mains switch to the
‘0’
position.
Place the coffee pot centrally on the hot plate.
Ensure that the hole in the lid of the pot engages
with the spring valve in the machine or the coffee
may not ow properly.
Open the lid of the coffee maker.
Remove the lter and spoon in the required amount
of coffee grains – typically 6 – 7g. per cup, or to
taste.
Fill the water tank with fresh cold water to the level
corresponding to the number of cups required.
Follow the markings on the side of the water tanks.
Do not overll.
Insert the lter into the lter compartment.
Close the lid.
Plug the unit into the mains and switch on at the
socket.
Switch the coffee maker mains
ON/OFF switch to
the ‘1’ position to start the machine. The red light
will come on.
When All The Coffee Has Run Into The Coffee Pot
Wait for one minute until all the coffee has nished
running into the pot. It can then be removed and
the coffee poured out.
If you wish to keep the coffee in the pot warm,
replace the pot on the hotplate and leave the
machine switched on.
When you have nished using the machine,
switch the ON/OFF switch to ‘0’ and unplug the
appliance.
Points To Remember When Operating Your
Coffee Maker
Disposable lters if used should be specially made
for coffee makers – Tesco stores stock a range of
suitable lters. Use size 4 (0 – cups).
Make sure you use coffee specially ground for
lter use.
Never use the coffee maker hotplate to warm
drinks such as baby milk, etc.
