  If your Texas A/S Lawn Mower engine doesn't start or stalls, there could be several reasons. Make sure you activate the engine brake handle and that the wires are correctly connected from the battery to the motor and start button. Adjust the engine brake cable as described in the manual. Ensure the lawn mower isn't sitting in high grass. Prime the engine by pushing the primer 1-3 times before starting. Check the choke lever position, and ensure the fuel tank has gasoline. If the gasoline is older than 3 months, empty the tank and carburetor and refill with fresh gasoline.
