What to do if my Texas Multi Cut 610 will not start when the start cord is pulled?
- SShannon McintoshAug 8, 2025
If your Texas Cutter won't start when you pull the start cord, several factors could be at play. First, make sure the engine brake handle is activated. Also, the brake cable might need adjustment, refer to the manual for instructions. Ensure the cutter isn't standing in high grass; try moving it or tilting it while starting, and set the height adjustment to the highest position. Check the fuel tank to ensure it has gasoline. If the gasoline is older than 3 months, empty the tank and carburetor and refill with fresh gasoline.
