To prevent false alarms TextAlert can be set to require multiple signals before an SMS is sent.
In order to offset this possibility of false triggering, any zone that TextAlert monitors can easily
be given one of three functions – two of them with ‘double-trigger’ or ‘dual-sensor’ features:
One Sensor – Triggered Once: The simplest and most sensitive deployment is a single
sensor that will cause a message to be sent. There are times that one wants this level
of ‘sensitivity’ to never miss a potential threat.
One Sensor – Multi-Triggered: You can define the number of triggers and period in
which they must occur to suite the area you are monitoring.
Two Sensors – Both Triggered: In this setting, both sensors must be triggered within a
defined period of time before the SMS is sent.
