3. Determine amount of wear of top case involute spline. If
dimension measured between pins is greater than maximum,
replace top case.
4. On reassembly, ensure all inspection compound has been
removed from inside surfaces, internal oil passages, and oil
fitting bosses.
5. Reassemble transmission.
