(61) Stop the fluid s upply.
(62) Wait u ntil the fluid pressure is released .
(63) Slowly disconnect the test cart fluid supply tube from the inboard panel.
(64) Install new sealing rings (t wo S2800-942 Seali ng Ri ngs ) and c onnect the two right inboard
wing p anel supply li nes to ports 1 and 5 on the wing proportioning u nit.
(65) Disconnect the cent er TKS panel s upply line from port 2 on th e wing proportioning unit.
(66) Connect the pu rge tank line to the cent er TKS panel as near to the panel as you ca n.
(67) Apply pressure of 10 psi, do a check for leaks in the line, and repair all leak s .
(68) Apply pres s ure of 20 psi to s lowly start the flui d flow through the panel.
(69) Wait until the fluid starts to come out all the holes at the same rate along the full length of the
panel a nd increase the pressure to 60 p si.
(70) Continue the fluid purge until the panel is correctly purged in ac co rdanc e with Fi gure 3 and
Table 2.
NOTE: To get an even flow over the panel it may be necess ary to lightly run a dry cloth or
paper to wel over the leading edge a nd/ or t he dry spots of the panel during purging.
(71) Stop the fluid s upply.
(72) Wait u ntil the fluid pressure is released .
(73) Slowly disconnect the test cart fluid supply tube from the inboard panel.
(74) Install a new S2800-942 Seal ing Ring and conne ct the center T KS inboard win g panel s upply
line to port 2 on t he wing proportioning unit.
(75) Disconnect the right outboard wing TKS panel supply line s from ports 3 and 4 on the wing
proportioning unit.
(76) Connect the purg e tank li ne to the outboard TKS pane l as ne ar to the panel as you can.
(77) Apply pressure of 10 psi, do a check for leaks in the line, and repair all leak s .
(78) Apply pres s ure of 20 psi to s lowly start the flui d flow through the panel.
(79) Wait until the fluid starts to come out all the holes at the same rate along the full length of the
panel a nd increase the pressure to 65 p si.
(80) Continue the fluid purge until the panel is correctly purged in ac co rdanc e with Fi gure 3 and
Table 2.
NOTE: To get an even flow over the panel it may be necess ary to lightly run a dry cloth or
paper to wel over the leading edge a nd/ or t he dry spots of the panel during purging.
(81) Stop the fluid s upply.
(82) Wait u ntil the fluid pressure is released .
(83) Slowly disconnec t the t est cart fluid supply tube from the ri ght outboard wing TKS panel.
(84) Install a new S2800-942 Sealing Ring and c onnec t the right outboard wing TKS panel supply
lines to ports 3 and 4 on the wing proport ioni ng unit.
(85) Disconnect the two wing strut T K S panel supply lines from ports 6 and 7 on t he right wing
proportioning unit.
