CAUTION: When you fay seal the gurn ey flaps to the wing flaps, do one wing and then the
other. The a dhes ive c an c ure quickly.
G. Wit h U000701S Sealant, fay seal the 2625 027-1 Gurney Flaps to the left wing flap and the
2625027-1 Gurney Flaps to the right wing flap.
H. With 50 S2456-4-2 Rivets, attach t he 2625027-1 Gurney Flaps to the left wing flap and the
2625027-1 Gurney Flaps to the right wing flap.
19. (Refer to Figure 12 and Figure 14. ) D o the electrical installa tion as f oll ows :
A. Find the large JD001 connector a nd the smaller JD002 connect or that is installed at FS214 .00
and RBL19.00.
B. Depin the wires t hat com e out of the JD001 and the JD002 connec to rs.
C. At the two connector holes that you drilled in the 2613495-10 TKS Connector Doubler, prepare the
surface of the sk in under the floorboards that are between the pilot's and the copilot's seat s for a n
electrical bond.
D. El ectrically bond the JD003 (JD003 was the JD001) and JD004 (JD004 was the J D 002) bulkhead
connectors and the doubler, and make sure that the maximu m resistan ce value is no more than
0.0025 ohms afte r the connectors are installed. (Refer to t he 208 Maintenance Manual, Chapter 20,
Electrical Bo nding - Maintenance Practic es .)
E. (Refer to Figure 14, Detail A.) Ins t all the J D003 bulkhead conn ec tor in side th e airplane on the
2613495-10 TKS Connec to rs Doubler and the M85528/2-12-A Mounting Flange on the outside of
the bell y skin and at tach them together with four MS 35206-228 Sc rews .
F. Install the J D 004 bulkhea d c onnec tor inside the airplane on the 2613495-10 TKS Co nnec to rs
Doubler a nd the M85528/2-16-B Mounting Flange on the outside of t he belly skin and attac h them
together with four MS35206-215 Screws.
G. (Refer to Figure 12.) Do the inst allation of the wires.
(1) Cut the wires that go to the forward bulkhead to the correc t length.
(2) Repin and re identify wires t hat are 2.0 0 inches or less i n distance from the connectors.
(3) Attach wiring to the J D 003 and JD004 connect ors .
(4) Reidentify the other ends of the wi r es that are behind the ins trument panel at each c onnector.
(5) Remove and discard the t hree wires that you depinned at the JD001 connector and that
routes to the PT003 con nec tor in the t ailcone.
NOTE: These three wires are in t he tailcone at FS372.50 and RBL00.54.
H. Insid e the cabin and from the JD003 connec t or, do the routing of the ap plicabl e new wires aft along
the ex isting wire bundles a nd the supports to the P T003 connecto r at the tailcone propo rtion ing unit.
I. (Refer to Figure 12 and Figure 14, View B-B.) Install one S 1232-505 Circuit Breaker (HC015)
and one S1232-502 Circuit B r eak er (HC016) as t he face nut and use the knurled nut as the base
nut adjacent t o the circuit break er body. (Ref er to the 208 Wiring Diagra m M anual, Chapter 20,
Standard P r actices - Airframe.)
J. Install one S1232-505 Circuit Breaker (HC005) in #2 Bus Bar. U s e the hex nut provided with the
circuit breaker as the face nut and use the knurled nut as the ba se nut adjacent to the circuit breaker
body.
K. (Refer to Figure 14, View D-D.) Install the S2034-1 M ount as follows:
(1) Make one Number 30 (0.128-inch diameter) hole in the s tructure.
(2) Apply Alodine to bare m etal.
(3) With one MS20470A4-6N Rivet , install on e S2034-1 Mount on the s tructure.
