OPERATING AND ASSEMBLING MANUAL
(Fig.I) Unfold the Velo by pulling the handle (1) upwards until the folding
hinges (2) have safely clicked into place. Before use , please make sure that
the folding hinges are safely clicked into place.
(Fig.II) The seat is attached to both sides of the frame with four push buttons
(a) per side and then with three more push buttons (b) in the footroom.
(Fig.III) Additionally, attach the seat with the help of the two straps on the
bottom of the seat bench (d). Furthermore, connect with 2 push buttons (c)
each, left and right between the seat and the basket. Then close the hook-
and-loop fasteners (e) to ensure the weather protection.
(Fig.IV) Finally, close the four belt fasteners (3) on the back of the backrest.
To do this, you need to insert the locks on the seat cover far enough into the
connecting piece that you hear them click into place.
(Fig.V) Insert the hood on the left and right in the designated holding fixtures
(4). Then, secure it at the height adjustment with the hook-and-loop
fastener(5) by guiding the band through the slit in the cover and around the
bar, Then pull it through the strap and close the hook-and-loop fastener. To
open the hood, fold hood forward until it audibly clicks into place. The front
hood frame is a rollover protection. The hood must always be open when
used for sports or as a bike trailer. If you would like to fold it up, press the two
push buttons on the holding fixtures(4).
(Fig.VI) To connect the hood to the seat, attach the two push buttons (6) on
the back of the seat cover at the top, as well as the hook-and-loop fasteners
on the left and right between the hood and the seat cover(7).
(Fig.VII) Inside the hood you can find an integrated sun and insect
protection screen (8). Remove the screen from the pouch and close the
zipper.
ATTENTION: If you are using the Velo as a bike trailer, you must absolutely use
this security measure.
(Fig.VIII) In the rear hood pouch (9) you can find the integrated weather
protection (10). Open the bottom zipper, take out the weather protection,
pull it forward and stretch it over the front frame bar. Additionally, press
together the two push buttons (11) on the back of the backrest and close
the latches (12) around the frame on the left and right at the height
adjustment.
(Fig.IX) To fold up the Velo, stand behind the buggy and unlock the folding
joints (2). To do this, pull the grey levers (13) towards you with your index
fingers and push the push bar forward (1).
