Why is my Thermadyne Welding System electrode melting when the arc is struck?
The electrode might be melting because it's connected to the ‘+’ terminal instead of the ‘?’ terminal. Also, the WAVE BALANCE might be greater than 50%. Try connecting the electrode to the correct terminal (‘?’) or reducing the WAVE BALANCE to below 50%, or increase the electrode size.
