If you observe porosity in your Thermal Arc Inverter welds, several factors could be responsible. Start by verifying that your shielding gas cylinder isn't empty and that the flow meter is correctly set to 31.75 CFH. Check for any gas leaks in the connections between the regulator and cylinder, as well as in the gas hose leading to the power source. Also, inspect the internal gas hose within the power source, ensuring it's properly connected to the MIG gun adapter and free from fractures. If you're welding in a breezy environment, shield the area or increase the gas flow. Ensure the workpiece is free from dirt, oil, paint, oxidation, or grease, and maintain a minimal distance between the MIG gun nozzle and the workpiece.
