How to fix a Thermoheat Heater when the fan won't turn on?
    • A
      Andrew TaylorAug 12, 2025
If the fan on your Thermoheat Heater isn't turning on when the heater is plugged in and the power switch is in the "ON" position, with the indicator lamp either on or flickering, it could be due to the thermostat setting being too low. Try turning the thermostat control knob to a higher setting. Another possible cause is a bad electrical connection between the motor and the MAIN PCB assembly.

What to do if Thermoheat KFA75L ignites then shuts off with error E1?

If your Thermoheat Heater ignites but the MAIN PCB assembly shuts it off shortly after, and the indicator lamp is flickering while the room temperature display reads "E1", it could be due to several reasons. It might be caused by wrong pump pressure, a dirty air output, air intake or lint filter, a dirty fuel filter, dirt in the nozzle, or a dirty photocell lens. Another potential cause is the photocell assembly not being properly installed, a bad electrical connection between the photocell and the MAIN PCB assembly, or a defective photocell.

If your Thermoheat Heater won't ignite but the motor runs briefly, and the indicator lamp flickers while the room temperature display shows "E1", possible causes include: the fuel tank is empty, there's wrong pump pressure, carbon deposits on the spark plug or an improper gap, a dirty fuel filter, dirt in the nozzle, water in the fuel tank, a bad electrical connection between the ignitor and the MAIN PCB assembly, or the ignitor wire isn't attached to the spark plug. Fill the tank with kerosene to solve the problem.

Why won't my Thermoheat Heater turn on?
    • D
      Diane JonesSep 2, 2025
If your Thermoheat Heater won't turn on and the indicator lamp is off, the issue might stem from a few reasons. The temperature limit safety device may be overheated, so turn the power switch to "OFF" and let the heater cool down for about 10 minutes. Also, ensure the heater cord and any extension cords are properly plugged in and check the power supply. A blown fuse could also be the culprit; in that case, replace the safety fuse in the PCB board. Finally, a bad electrical connection between the temperature limit safety device and the PCB board could be the cause.
