What to do if my Thermomate ET060 Water Heater's display lights up but there is no temperature and no hot water?

  If your Thermomate Water Heater's digital display lights up but shows no temperature and the outgoing water temperature matches the cold water supply, the flow rate might be too low. This heater needs about 0.26 GPM to activate. Increase the flow or inspect the filter mat inside the inlet connector. Also, trapped air bubbles can cause this. To resolve, ensure the breakers are on, power on the unit, and run the hot water tap for around 20 seconds.

  If your Thermomate Water Heater isn't getting hot enough, first, increase the temperature setting on the unit. If that doesn't work, the flow rate might be too high, exceeding the heater's capacity; consider installing a flow regulator. For new installations, have an electrician check for crossed wires. Also, ensure the voltage is at least 240 volts, or you may need a larger heater. Lastly, reduce the amount of cold water mixed in, as tankless heaters require less mixing than conventional ones; check for anti-scald features on your faucet and adjust if necessary.
