Note:
• Readallinstructionsbeforebeginningwork.
To Remove Toilet From Floor
1. TurnoffRVwatersupplyperRVOwner’sManual.
2. Pressbothkeypadbuttonsatthesametime,twice,toopenbladeand
drainbowlofwater.If control or mechanism does not work, you will have
to open the valve manually. Remove the Sound Deadening Insulation
(if present) from the back of the mechanism to access the mechanism
lead screw (Fig. E). Turn knob (if present otherwise use a 5/16socket
wrench) clockwise to open the valve.

7/16-inchwrenchtoremoveLagScrews.

5. TiltToilettowardyoutogainaccesstoconnections.
6. DisconnectToilet’s12-voltpowerhookuptoRV.
7. DisconnectWaterSupplyLinefromelbowconnectorbyhand.Use
AdjustableWrenchifnecessary,withcare.
8. RemoveToiletfromoorandplaceupsidedownontowelorsoftfabric
mat.
9. RemoveoldClosetFlangeSeal(maybefoundontoiletorinoorat
ClosetFlange).Discard.
10. CoverHoldingTankopeningtocontainodor.
To Remove Old Part
1. UsingScrewdriverhandle,tapout2MountingBushings(Fig.B).Save
them.
2. RemoveMountingFlange(Fig.B).
3. High Prole models only:IfExtensionTube(Fig.C)didnotcomeout
withMountingFlange,removeitandtheExtensionTubeSeal.Save.
4. Removeandsave4MechanismScrews(MS,Fig.D).
5. EaseMechanismAssemblyoffwhiteMechanismPlate.TogetMecha-
nismout,youmayneedtoremoveotherparts(Fig.A).ToremoveMetal
Bracket,loosenscrewsandswingout.ToremoveControllerAssembly
and/orSwitchBox,useaat-bladedscrewdrivertoprythemfromwall
ofunit.Removeoldadhesivepad(s).
6. Disconnect2 (green/yellow) Wire Motor Leads from Mechanism As-
sembly(Fig.A).Usepliersifnecessary.
7. DisconnectOverowTubeifpresent(pre3-16-03)fromMechanism
Assembly.DiscardMechanismifnotreturning.

Summary

Remove Toilet from Floor

Preparation and Initial Disconnection

Turn off water, drain bowl, disconnect power and water supply lines.

Floor Removal and Sealing

Pry off bolt caps, remove lag screws, lift toilet, and remove old closet flange seal.

Remove Old Mechanism Parts

Component Removal

Tap out bushings, remove mounting flange and extension tube if applicable.

Mechanism and Plate Separation

Remove mechanism screws and detach mechanism assembly from the white plate.

Replace Mechanism Plate

Plate Removal and Preparation

Remove mechanism plate screws, discard plate and well-nuts if needed.

Sealant Application and Plate Installation

Apply caulk sealant and align mechanism plate with bowl openings.

Replace Mechanism

Blade Seal and Mechanism Seating

Wet blade seal, ensure it's seated correctly, and close the valve.

Component Reassembly and Securing

Connect motor leads, attach mechanism to plate, and secure with screws.

Extension Tube and Flange Installation

Install extension tube seal, assembly, mounting flange, and bushings.

Test Mechanism Operation

Power and Flush Button Test

Connect power, turn on, and press flush buttons to test operation.

Replace Toilet To Floor

Toilet Placement and Water Connection

Position toilet, connect water supply, and check for leaks.

Securing and Final Testing

Secure toilet to floor with lag screws and perform flush test.
