Thefollowingsubmenuitemsaredisplayed:
•ExitSavingChanges:Savethechangesandrestartthecomputer.
•ExitDiscardingChanges:Discardthechangesandrestartthecomputer.
•LoadSetupDefaults:Restoretothefactorydefaultsettings.
Note:EnableOSOptimizedDefaultstomeettheWindows8orWindows8.1certificationrequirements.
Whenyouchangethissetting,someothersettingsarechangedautomatically,suchasCSMSupport,
UEFI/LegacyBoot,SecureBoot,andSecureRollBackPrevention.
•DiscardChanges:Discardthechanges.
•SaveChanges:Savethechanges.
UpdatingyoursystemUEFIBIOS
TheUEFIBIOSisthefirstprogramthatthecomputerrunswhenthecomputeristurnedon.TheUEFIBIOS
initializesthehardwarecomponents,andloadstheoperatingsystemandotherprograms.
YoucanupdatetheUEFIBIOSbystartingyourcomputerfromaflashupdateopticaldiscoraflashupdate
programrunningintheWindowsenvironment.Whenyouinstallanewprogram,adevicedriver,orhardware,
youmightbeinformedtoupdatetheUEFIBIOS.
