There's a pressure sensor beneath the drumhead.
If you want to select touch sensitive sound effects:
1. Lay the palm of the hand on the drumhead and alter the pressure.
2. Now hit the drumhead or the rim. Alternatively, you can also play first and additionally
press with your palm on the surface struck.

A special sound with different effect types and patches is generated.
There are following five types of pressure-dependent sound effects, each of which is stored in
a patch. This is determined by the factory and can not be changed by the user.
