TROUBLE SHOOTING
Before you call for service, determine the symptoms and make a few simple checks as shown below.
TV set:

z Check whether the contrast setting is too high.

z Check for incorrect battery orientation.
z Check for dead batteries
z Check for distance and angle from the display.
z Check whether remote control is properly being pointed at th

display’s receiver.
z Check for an

obstacle between the remote control and the
display.
z Check that the remote sensor window is not under stron
g
fluorescent lighting.
There is no picture or sound, just
noise.
z Make sure the antenna cable is properly connected.
z Consider whether TV signals are being properly received.
Picture is not clear. z Make sure the antenna cable is properly connected.

No sound z Check whether you have selected “Mute” for Audio setting.
z Make sure the volume is not set to minimum.
z Make sure that headphones are not connected.
