Why does my Thumpstar Motorcycle have a short run time?
    • M
      Michael ChenAug 4, 2025
If your Thumpstar Motorcycle has a short run time or runs slowly, there are several possible causes. First, verify the battery is fully charged. If the battery is old or damaged, replace it. Ensure the tire is properly inflated to the recommended pressure on the tire sidewall; replace the tube if you can't maintain pressure. Also, check the brakes and adjust them to ensure they are not rubbing on the discs.

How to fix Thumpstar TSE12 Motorcycle power switch that does not work?
    • K
      Kyle MartinAug 13, 2025
If the power switch on your Thumpstar Motorcycle isn't working, first verify the battery is fully charged. If that's not the issue, remove the controller box cover and locate the solid dark blue and black wires. Un-plug it and pluck it back in, then press the switch again. If it still doesn't work, unplug the connector and connect a volt meter (ohm function) to the red and blue wires that go to the switch and depress the switch. You should see the meter go to 0. If there is no charge, the switch is bad. If the meter went to 0 then you have a bad controller.
