2.1.3 Maintenance
- Only carry out maintenance which is described in the user manual.
See chapter 5 “Maintenance”.
- An authorised technician must carry out maintenance and repairs which are not
described in the manual.
- In order to keep your lift safe and reliable, it is recommended to have it serviced
annually by an authorised technician.
- Do not disassemble or repair the stairlift yourself. Have stairlift parts repaired
and replaced by an authorised technician.
- Do not modify the stairlift in any way.
- Do not remove stickers, labels, data plates and warning plates from the stairlift.
- If you think that the stairlift has a defect which can cause injury or death, do not
use the stairlift and immediately contact your supplier (see chapter 9).
- For North America: Do regular tests and inspections according to “ASME A18.1 -
2005: Safety Standard for Platform Lifts and Stairway Chairlifts”.
