CAUTION!
Safety is of primary importance to the owner / operator and to the manufacturer. The rst section of this manual
includes a list of Safety Messages, that, if followed, will help protect the operator and bystanders from injury or
death. Many of the messages will be repeated throughout the manual. The owner / operator / dealer should know
these Safety Messages before assembly and be aware of the hazards of operating this mower during assembly,
use, and maintenance.
The Safety Alert Symbol combined with a signal word, as seen below, is intended to warn the owner / operator
of impending hazards and the degree of injury possible during operation.
Indicates an imminently hazardous situation that, if not avoided, WILL result in
DEATH OR VERY SERIOUS INJURY.
Indicates an imminently hazardous situation that, if not avoided, COULD result in
DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY.
Indicates an imminently hazardous situation that, if not avoided, MAY result in MINOR
INJURY.
IMPORTANT!
Identies special instructions or procedures that, if not strictly observed, could result
in damage to, or destruction of the machine, attachments or the enviroment.
NOTE:
Identies points of particular interest for more e󰀩cient or convienient operation or
repair.
Many varied objects, such as wire, cable, rope, or chains, can become entangled in
the operating parts of the mower head. Such a situation is extremely hazardous and
could result in serious injury or even death. Inspect the cutting area for such objects
before mowing. Remove any like object from the site. Never allow the cutting blades
to contact such items.
