Before any operation of boat and mower, the user should read and understand the safety
and operating instructions for both the boat and the mower. The user should also be familiar
with the location and functions of the unit’s instruments and controls. Being familiar with the
machine and its controls will increase eciency and reduce possibility of serious injury or
damage to the unit. The operator should work slowly and carefully until he feels comfortable
with the machine. Speed and skill will be attained much easier if the necessary time is spent
to familiarize yourself with the machine and its operations.
Extreme care should be taken when operating near loose objects
such as gravel, rocks, wire, and other debris. Inspect the area
before mowing. Foreign objects should be removed from the site
to prevent machine damage and/or bodily injury or even death.
Any objects that cannot be removed must be clearly marked and
carefully avoided by the operator. Stop mowing immediately if
blades strike a foreign object. Repair all damage before resuming
mowing.
