Overview

This document provides a comprehensive guide to the Lauben Low Sugar Rice Cooker 3000AT and 3000WT models, covering its functions, technical specifications, usage, and maintenance.

Function Description

The Lauben Low Sugar Rice Cooker is a versatile kitchen appliance designed primarily for home use. Its main function is to cook rice, including a "Low Sugar Rice" option, which is a key feature for health-conscious users. Beyond rice, the cooker offers several other cooking programs, making it a multi-functional device. These programs include:

  • Slow Cook: For dishes requiring longer cooking times at lower temperatures.
  • Quick Cook: For faster cooking needs.
  • Porridge: Ideal for preparing various types of porridge.
  • Soup: For making soups and broths.
  • Vegetables: For steaming or cooking vegetables.

The device features a digital display that shows the selected program and time settings. It also includes a "Keep Warm" mode, which automatically activates after a program finishes, maintaining the food at an optimal serving temperature for up to 24 hours. A "Delayed Start" function allows users to preset a cooking start time, ensuring meals are ready at a desired moment.

Important Technical Specifications

The Lauben Low Sugar Rice Cooker models LBNLSRC3000WT and LBNLSRC3000AT share identical technical specifications:

  • Power Source: 220-240 V, 50 Hz, compatible with standard household electrical systems in many regions.
  • Power Consumption: 605 W, indicating its energy usage during operation.
  • Capacity: 3 liters, suitable for preparing meals for small to medium-sized households.

Usage Features

The rice cooker is designed for ease of use with a straightforward control panel.

Program Selection and Operation:

To select a program, users press the (b) button, which makes the chosen function blink on the display. Pressing the (d) button starts the selected program, and its corresponding LED remains lit. If a program is not manually started, it will automatically begin 60 seconds after selection.

Delayed Start Function:

This feature allows users to set a delayed start time. The preset time includes the cooking duration of the chosen program. For example, if a 4-hour "preset time" is set, the meal will be ready in 4 hours, and the rice cooker will automatically switch to "Keep Warm" mode. To use this, select a program with the (b) button, then press (a) to enter the time preset mode. Use the (c) button to adjust the desired delay time within a 2-24 hour range. Confirm with the (d) button. The display will show the LEDs for both the selected program and the delayed start. To cancel and restart, long-press the (d) button.

Starting/Cancelling a Program:

After selecting a program and setting the time, a short press of the (d) button starts the program. To end a program, long-press the (d) button, and the appliance will enter standby mode, allowing for new program and time settings.

Low Sugar Function Specifics:

  1. Rinse the rice and place it in the inner basket (9). Then, place the inner basket with the rice into the inner pot (7).
  2. Add the required amount of water, using the water level markings inside the pot (if two scoops of rice are used, fill to level 2).
  3. Select the "Low Sugar Rice" function using button (b) and start the program with button (d).
