1. Initial Setup (important for correct setting of the radio-controlled watch)
Due to heavy shocks or magnetic fields the hand position may differ from the internally saved radio time. The initial setup serves to resynchronise the hands
with the internally saved radio time.
For the basic time setting, pull the crown to position 1 and set the date to the calendar’s previous day/date by rotating the crown.
• Rotate the crown towards right/left to set the day/date to the yesterday’s day/date.
• Then, pull the crown up to its position 2 and press the MODE button to set the seconds hand step by step exactly to 12.
• Now set the hour and minute hands exactly to 12:00 o‘clock (midnight position). To do this, first rotate the crown (on pos. 2) towards right until the Date
display jumps to the current day. This happens only after 12:00 o’clock position at night. The date disc will adjust automatically in next steps. As the
case may be, the watch’s hands need to be reset a little backwards: to do this, rotate the crown backwards, left. Now all 3 hands are exactly at 12:00
o‘clock and the day is correct. Then, press the crown back into the zero position (rotate again tightly screwed crowns). Now, press MODE and radio-
signal will be received. The hands will rotate forwards to the correct time and set the day disc.
The initial setting is now complete. This process will take up to 8 minutes.
