Changing the Batteries

This toy comes with trial batteries. For best performance, we

suggest changing the batteries before using the toy.

Loosen the battery compartment

(on the underside of the toy)

using a cross-headed screwdriver.

(Fig. 1).

Remove the cover and insert 3

new AA (1.5v) batteries. (Fig. 2).

3. Replace the cover and tighten

the screw firmly.

Please note: batteries may leak

fluid that can be harmful to your

baby and product. We therefore

strongly recommend using only

high-quality alkaline (dry) batteries.

The toy comes set in the

TRY ME position – to start

playing, turn the toy over

and move the switch from

TRY ME to ON.

(Fig. 3 & Fig. 4).

1. You will now hear a

short sound, this is to

confirm that the toy is

on and ready for play.

2. The toy will make

a sound every few

seconds.

The Tiny Love Follow-Me Toy is a soft developmental toy designed to encourage movement and interaction in babies. It comes in two versions: Follow Me Fred and Crawl Along Leo.

Function Description:

The toy is designed to walk and make sounds, engaging babies and encouraging them to crawl or walk. It features an accordion body that allows it to walk in a straight line or in a circle, depending on how it's stretched. The toy also has two speed settings, which can be adjusted by pressing a large front button with a paw drawing. As a safety precaution, if the toy is picked up while in the ON position, its wheels will automatically stop turning.

Important Technical Specifications:

Batteries: Requires 3 new AA (1.5v) batteries. The toy comes with trial batteries, but high-quality alkaline (dry) batteries are recommended for best performance and to prevent fluid leakage.
Power Switch: Features an Off, On, Mute, and Try Me position.
Materials: Soft developmental toy.

Usage Features:

Getting Started: The toy is initially set in the "TRY ME" position. To start playing, turn the toy over and move the switch from "TRY ME" to "ON."
Sound Confirmation: Upon switching to "ON," a short sound will confirm that the toy is ready for play. The toy will then make a sound every few seconds.
Walking Activation: To make the toy walk, give it a gentle pat. It will walk for a few seconds and stop until patted again.
Direction Control: By stretching its accordion body, the toy can be made to walk straight (for walking forward) or curved (for walking in a circle).
Speed Regulation: The toy's walking speed can be adjusted by pressing the large front button with the paw drawing.
Mute Function: The "MUTE" setting allows the toy to move without making any sounds.
Safety Features: The wheels automatically stop turning if the toy is picked up while in the "ON" position.
Battery Saving: To conserve battery life, it is recommended to switch the toy to "OFF" at the end of play.

Maintenance Features:

Battery Replacement:
1. Loosen the screw on the battery compartment (located on the underside of the toy) using a cross-headed screwdriver.
2. Remove the cover and insert 3 new AA (1.5v) batteries.
3. Replace the cover and tighten the screw firmly.
- Safety Rules for Batteries:
  - Batteries should be replaced by adults only.
  - Do not mix old and new batteries.
  - Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
  - Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged.
  - Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
  - Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
  - Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
  - Do not burn batteries. Dispose of batteries in a safe and appropriate manner.
  - Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
  - Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
  - The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
Storage and Cleaning:
1. Ensure the toy is turned off before cleaning or storing.
2. Remove batteries for long-term storage.
3. Use a damp cloth to wipe the toy clean.
4. Do not immerse the toy in water.
