2. Place your V
2
Ozone Generator in a position so that
aquarium water cannot siphon from your aquarium
skimmer back through the silicone tubing to your V
2
Ozone
Generator. This can be achieved as follows:-
a. Firstly mount the V
2
Ozone Generator at least 20cm
above the highest water level in your system. If this is not
possible make sure that the silicone tubing between the
V
2
Ozone Generator and your water system is at least
20cm above the highest water level at some point.
b. We also recommend that an ozone resistant check valve
is installed in the silicone tubing between the V
2
Ozone
Generator and skimmer to prevent back siphoning.
Please Note: Do not use your V
2
Ozone Generator
directly above the aquarium or any other body of
water as evaporating water will affect performance
and possibly damage the unit.
3. Figure 2 below shows the set up configuration we
recommend when connecting your V
2
Ozone Generator to
your marine/freshwater aquarium or pond system.
Please Note: The stainless steel air input and ozone
output tubes on the black heat sink are interchangeable so
they can be connected to best fit your setup.
