Chapter 7: Adjustments
1 Mechanism Adjustments
1.1 Adjustment of nozzle center
The purpose of this adjustment is to make the center of nozzle hole and the mold center hole (center of
locating ring) to be on the same centerline. Adjustment procedures are as follows:

Ａ) Loosen the bolt that secures carriage rod.
Ｂ) Loosen the bolt that secures support.
Ｃ) Adjusting of carriage support bolt.
Clockwise rotation：increase the height
Counter clockwise rotation：decrease the height
Ｄ) After center is adjusted，lock up the bolt that secures carriage support.
Ｅ) Lock up the bolt that secures carriage rod.
Mold shall be installed with locating ring and shall align with the center of nozzle
to facilitate mold erection and nozzle center alignment
WARING
Don’t adjust injection unit for centering of nozzle and mold.
