TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem: The pump is not working
Check power is switched on.
Check all connections.
Check and ensure the pump is switched on.
Check pump for debris.
Check impeller and impeller shaft bush is clean and clear.
Problem: There is a whining noise coming from the pump
Due to the nature of the high speed and powerful flow of the DC motors, some whining
noise can be heard and is completely normal.
Problem: I can hear a clicking noise and my pump is not running correctly
Check impeller shaft for damage. Replace if necessary.
GUARANTEE
This product, except for the impeller, is guaranteed against defects of materials and
workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. This guarantee is only valid if
the receipt or other proof of purchase is also supplied when the unit is returned for repair.
The guarantee covers the replacement of any defective parts. In case of improper use,
tampering or negligence by the buyer/user, the guarantee is deemed to be void.
Postage and packing costs for any returns are the responsibility of the buyer/user.
Please note: Only use the correctly-rated controller supplied with the pump, e.g the Reef
Flow 2.0 1000nano Controller with the Reef Flow 2.0 1000nano pump. A label on the back
of the controller denotes which pump it is designed for. Using the wrong controller with the
wrong pump will invalidate the guarantee.
