PUMP OPERATION
The REEF-Tide/REEF-Tide Compact Pump has several functions to control output and wave
type. We advise you to speak with your local fish shop to determine which settings will be best
for the species of corals and the aquarium size you own. A little experimentation is often
required to achieve the best results, as no two setups or scapes are the same.
OPERATION OF THE DC CONTROLLER
1. Up to 8 blue LEDs will illuminate to show pump speed, power
and frequency.
- Two LEDs illuminated indicate the pump output is 40% of maximum power
- Four LEDs illuminated indicate the pump output is 60% of maximum power
- Six LEDs illuminated indicate the pump output is 80% of maximum power
- Eight LEDs illuminated indicate the pump output is 100% of maximum power
2. The LCD screen displays the current time
or the wave mode

This can be changed from 1 to 8 with 1 being the fastest and 8 being the slowest frequency. Please note: In Continuous
Stream Mode the Wave Frequency is factory pre-set at 8 and cannot be adjusted. In Random Mode, Wave Frequency and Power
Intensity cannot be adjusted and the LCD Display will show a “0” to denote that these cannot be changed.
