Usage Features

  • Assembly: Requires careful reading of instructions and adherence to local safety regulations. Assembly is recommended on a day with low or no wind.
  • Foundation: Requires a solid flat level ground. Anchor bolts (6B) are used to secure base plates (6) and door column base plates (6A) to the foundation.
  • Truss System: The building comprises 15 trusses, which are assembled individually and then connected. The trusses are then erected and secured to the base plates.
  • Roof Purlins: 70 roof purlins (horizontal tubes) connect the trusses, forming the main structure.
  • Door Trusses: Dedicated front and rear door trusses are installed, incorporating door frame components and cross tubes.
  • Film Installation: The film cover is pulled over the truss frame. It must be tightened evenly to eliminate wrinkles and ensure a flat, smooth surface. Over-tightening should be avoided to prevent damage. Clip springs (22A) are used to fix the film.
  • Roll Film System: This system allows for horizontal raising and lowering of the film for ventilation. It consists of guide tubes (17), roll film tubes (18), film rolling machines (21), and pressure film carriers (24). Round plugs (32) are used on the ends of the guide tubes.
  • Door Buckle: A door buckle (20) is mounted on the door frame using self-tapping screws (29).
  • Not for Human Occupancy: The building is explicitly stated not to be intended for human occupancy.

Maintenance Features

  • Pre-Assembly Check: All components and parts must be checked against the parts list before installation to ensure completeness.
  • Structural Inspection: After assembly, a thorough inspection of the entire structure is required. All components and trusses should be squared to the baseline, and all purlins must be straight and in line.
  • Fastener Tightening: All bolts and nuts should be firmly secured, but not over-tightened, to prevent damage to the tubes.
  • Cover Protection: It is recommended to tape or add foam/rubber on the frame where joints connect and where it touches the cover. This helps extend the lifespan of the cover.
  • Post-Installation Inspection: Periodically inspect the shelter to ensure all components are firmly secured and the entire structure is well-supported. Check all bolts, nuts, and connection points.
  • Snow Removal: Immediate removal of snow from the roof is strongly recommended. Snow load should not be left on the roof overnight. A 3-foot clearance from both sides and ends of the ground must be maintained to prevent snow accumulation from pushing against the building and causing collapse.
  • No Alterations: No alterations should be made to the structure.
  • No Hanging Weights: Do not hang any weights on the frame during installation.
