Function Description

The Toastmaster 1.7 Liter Kettle is an electric kettle that operates by heating water through an internal heating element. Alternatively, a commercial descaling solution can be used, following the manufacturer's directions.

When storing the kettle, all parts should be clean and dry. It should be stored in its box or a clean, dry place, never while hot or wet. The line cord should be wrapped around the cord storage underneath the base, and never wrapped tightly around the appliance itself, as this can cause stress and fraying. The kettle should always be stored in an upright position. Regular inspection of the line cord for cuts or abrasion marks is advised; if any are found, the appliance should be serviced and the cord replaced.
