TomTom Traffic
Traffic is a unique TomTom service for receiving up-to-date traffic information.
For more information about services and subscriptions, tap the TomTom Traf-
fic button in the Main Menu.
Important: The Traffic service is only supported on iPhone devices. To use the service and
receive traffic updates, you need a continuous data connection (GPRS, EDGE, UMTS or
CDMA). Your mobile operator may charge you for using a wireless data connection.
If you are roaming with your iPhone and want to prevent the TomTom app from down-
loading traffic updates, tap Change Settings in the Main Menu. Tap Advanced and set
Traffic to off.
In combination with IQ Routes, Traffic helps you plan the best possible route to your des-
tination taking into account the latest traffic information.
Regional availability
Note: Services are only available in the US. Traffic is not available on the iPod Touch. For
more information on available services, tap the TomTom Traffic button in the Main Menu.
Getting a traffic subscription
Start your TomTom app and then purchase a subscription by doing the following:
